| Martha Posner and Ricardo Barros take an unorthodox view of the body as form. Both artists undertake a personal exploration of how that form conveys human experience. Both uniquely observe the enmeshment of physical matter - whether it is fabric, hair or flesh - with a visually implied narrative. The stories both of these artists tell are distinctly removed from our civil lives and, concurrently, disturbingly familiar.
